Congratulations
Alison, Amy, and John!

Congratulations to Allison D., Amy T., and John M. for their participation in All-State Band 2002. The trio auditioned on their instruments for judges in two rounds. The first round required them to perform scales and sightread music, and the second round consisted of performing a pre-selected piece and sightreading.

Allison was a member of David Holsinger's band, a well-known composer of band literature. Amy and John were members of Dr. Ray Cramer's band, professor of music and band director at Indiana University.

The All-State Band festivities occurred in Savannah, Georgia and consisted of rigorous rehearsals and featured the final performances on Saturday May 4. While in Savannah, the trio found time to enjoy the seafood festival on River Street, dine at popular local restaurants, and shop in the downtown district.
